  • Summary: Content and recipes good, but print a bit small
  • Comment: This book is informative and I am a fan of Dave, but I was a little disappointed in the print being so small and no pics of the finished recipes which I find helpful. I am not sorry I bought this book and the price is right, but would have paid a few more dollars to improve the finished product.

  • Summary: Great book hard to read
  • Comment: I just received the book and tried to read some of the recipes. I'm a senior and have fairly good vision but I found the print in this book difficult to read. Someone that is color blind might not be able to read this at all. The print is all done in blue and mostly light blue. After a day of looking at the computer, my eyesight isn't what it used to be. Recipes are great from what I can tell but print is not so great.

  • Summary: Great book!
  • Comment: If you are looking for a book with healthy, yummy, and easy to prepare recipes, this is it! It introduces you to new foods like quinoa and beets, and shows you how to make them into great dinners for your family! I love this book, and how easy is is to read. Even my husband, who is a self-proclaimed BBQ master, is excited about some of the healthy recipes!

  • Summary: Great foods to eat!
  • Comment: I sent this book as a gift to my friend in Hawaii who is overweight and a diabetic. Then while I was there visiting the book arrived and we made several of the recipes. In the "meatballs with Quinoa" I substituted ground turkey for the beef. Cooked the Quinoa in 50/50 beef broth /water. The meatballs were fabulous and then improvised this recipe to make "turkey" meatloaf. My friends had never had ground turkey! Now today, she called and asked me how I made several of those ground turkey dishes while I was there. Good read and I have used more of the foods recommended in my daily diet.

  • Summary: Okay, but not as many recipies as I had hoped for.
  • Comment: This book didn't have as many recipies that would apply to my family and style of cooking, maybe a little unrealistic for teenage boys.
