- Comment: I got this after taking a Wusthof knife skills class from Sur La Table. With taking the class, you received a free 6 inch chef's blade. I had pulled the teacher aside and asked how to keep the knife's edge, she recommended that this product. It works excellently. I do recommend that you take your knives to a professional once a year to get a nice clean edge on it, but this is an excellent backup. Also to use your honing steel everytime you use your blade. I always loved Wusthof and they make amazing products. I haven't used the scissor sharpener yet.

- Comment: I had never sharpened any knives and was quite nervous, but this tool was easy to use and very effective. Both my cheap and fancy knives work perfectly now. Also, it sharpens right and lefty scissors, excellent! Lefties rejoice!
